Pastor David J. Koehler has served as Pastor of Loudonville Baptist Temple since January 1, 2003. Prior to coming to LBT, Pastor Koehler worked in the video production field and served with his family at Mansfield Baptist Temple in various capacities. Chris, his wife, taught Sunday School, worked in various children's ministries, helped on her father's bus route, was a past president of the Ladies Fellowship. 

Pastor drove a bus in the bus ministry, worked in the Kings Kids Ministry, and taught the College and Career Sunday School class. Pastor and Chris have worked in VBS, Nursery (supervisor), and music ministries of MBT.

Pastor Koehler surrendered to the call of God on his life to pastor in
October 1997 during a missions conference at MBT. He then pursued further education through Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary, obtaining a Master of Theological Studies and a Master of Divinity in 2004. He was ordained into the gospel ministry in January of 2003.

Pastor and Chris have three sons: Matthew, Joshua, and Jacob.
